Welcome to Solstice a shrine to the relationship between Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen! This site is about sisters by sisters and is full of unmarked spoilers. It should also be noted that the sisters working on this site are very close and thus feel as though they understand the motivations of each sister from Frozen. It is this reason that led them to scrap the original idea of independent shrines and combine them to the element that made them love the movie. Sisterly love and friendship, misunderstandings, isolation, playing, and warm hugs. We hope you enjoy your visit!
We chose the name Solstice to honor the day we saw Frozen, December 21, 2013, which happens to be the Winter Solstice. In addtion, we felt that the general idea of the sun standing still fit well with the sisters that live in isolation. Their lives are "on hold". It is not until the sisters are truly reunited do they really start living and experiencing life. It is through their time together that they are able to change and overcome obstacles.
